Don’t buy a standalone ship as your first purchase. Game access comes from a game package.
Path 2 — You’ve decided to try
Use the checklist to avoid the classic mistakes around account creation, referral bonus timing, and buying the right thing.
Create your free RSI account (if you’re ready)
If you want the referral bonus, the referral code must be applied during account creation (it generally can’t be added later).
Tip: Promotions and referral bonuses sometimes align with Free Fly. If you’re on the fence, timing can matter.
